“IT IS WHAT IT IS”

Where was this photo taken?
“The Gutter Bookshop, Temple Bar.”

What does this photo mean to you?
“It reflects a state of mind. One being lost in yourself, consumed by negativity in the mind, if you’re looking in the gutter you’re in a bad place, lost in your thoughts. The other is more reality, getting on with it, doing what you’re doing. If you’re looking at the stars in the sky you’re in the moment, looking at the reality of the present, you’re like wow, you see it. The gutter is the illusion of the mind lost in thoughts, the present is total reality, in the zone, living..”

What do you like best about this photo?
“The simplicity of it. You get it.”
