“My “issues” would fall under the mental health umbrella.  I am a loner by nature and fortunately have steered clear of the drink and the drugs.  I have an O.C.D obsessive compulsive disorder.  I’m no shrink and really don’t believe much in this sectors’ power to help me, main treatment – drugs – legit, but drugs all the same.  I often think what I have is a type of adult autism or a schizoid personality – I have never been psychotic however.  The family was riddle with it- “mental” and one Aunt Madeline was called ‘Maddy’ for short.  I would have an interest in sort of obscure things like esperanto. Know one thing, terribly damaged perhaps from childhood, very insecure!

I found it hard to the people thing! I mean I am so detached, I ain’t bothered anymore to fit in.  I takes a lot of effort.  It’s enough to have lots of acquaintances going to the same places.  In our misery, these are fellows on the path but never bosom pals.

Should one of my pictures make it into the exhibition I would like it to be under the pseudo name ‘Ramblin Rose,’ no ‘g’ please.  This song sort of speaks to me and sort of fits in with my everyday life.

On the circuit I am well known.  Often called a name like Mary, Margaret, Catherine, Veronica, Geraldine, Elizabeth, Bridget!  I like Elizabeth best of all, it is so regal!  But such a mouthful, 4 syllables.  On Sunday I went past Pearse street station on Westland row and two rough sleepers – I don’t have names for them, were surfacing at 10.30am and said a cheery “Hello Bridget, Bring on the DUBS!” I was delighted for Bridget was both goddess and saint.”
